i ended up giveing this game a complete make-over. this was so fun to work on. theres still only fire and water elements but everything else was revamped

It was fun, but the resting mechanic took most of pace out of the gameplay. I would suggest removing it, or make it heal you much faster. Towards the end of my 3rd level, recovery became so slow simply casting spells didn't seem worth the wait to recover the MP!
Although, recovery aside, the game was solid.

thats what the potions are for! resting is FREE, it serves as a last resort if you have no money, it wouldnt be balanced if you had instant maxMP before every battle- then weapons would be pointless. i designed it so when you start out youll probly have to use the rest area to save money but as you progress youll have plenty of gold to purchase elixers which are only 30g and replenish all hp and mp

i thought i had the rest of the spell effect graphics but i couldnt find them, do you still have them?
