Stan's World 2 is the best SC game I have ever played. For that matter, it's the best card-based game I've ever played. Of course, part of the reason that I like it is because it's the sequel to a game I made when I was a kid... but even if that wasn't the case, I think I would still like it a lot. This is simply a really good game.
The writing is excellent. It has an edge to it, but it also has a sense of innocence. Like for example, you can steal a gun and use it to rob a convenience store, but you never shoot anybody. And also, the goal of the game is to hook up with Veronica, but there's no "hot coffee" scene, if you know what I'm referring to. (or is there? lol) It's also much more believable than the original: there's no getting sucked into an arcade game, no saving the world from a demon inside the machine, or anything weird like that. This is very good. SW2 is much more tasteful and is better balanced than the original, and I'm glad you made it that way.
The graphics, as in all Eqwanox games, are amazing. Stan's expressions are the best part. The image of Stan holding the gun is hilarious to me, I just can't describe it. It's like the euphoria of the moment is jumping out of the screen. "I have a GUN... this changes EVERYTHING!!" The rest of the game looks good also, but the rendering of Stan is what I really enjoy. Also, I'm pleased that Veronica has a forehead. I know that's something I forgot to give her in SW1. LOL.

The coding and the gameplay are also very solid. There are a couple of bugs here and there, but they're mostly insignificant, and usually avoidable. Really, it's impressive that such a complex game has so few bugs. I like how it focuses on managing time and various resources. It's a really challenging game, and that makes it fun. Even with the cheat codes it's still hard. I also like how you can play through it in different ways, focusing on certain things and neglecting others. This gives it a lot of replay value.
I give it a 5 out of 5!
